Has anyone come across any evidence of this please? GP's charging up to £130 for evidence for appeals for Benefits?

Mine charged £25 but it made no difference to the appeal.

Mine was £32.00, but that is there 'standard charge' for anything that you ask for.

We had to pay about £ 30 for a supporting letter for husbands ESA claim last year.

Dear Suzyme2u,

If I didn't know that this wasn't a joke I would be 'pissing myself', at the thought! Instead my blood is boiling and my thoughts are along the lines of 'what a fucking cheek/how dare they treat vulnerable people like this/so much for the sodding 'caring profession' or something else along those lines! I'm NOT one who expects 'something for nothing' but for God's Sake! Fortunately this did not happen to me and I also obtained a successful appeal-so far anyway!

Please will others answer here please?(two 'pleases' I know) If only to gain a fuller understanding of the 'overall' picture. John, or Susan, if you read this can a 'poll' not be carried out or, at least, something be DONE?

We will keep this one 'going'- if we can!
