If I was in your shoes, I'd probably increase my vit D dose by taking an extra 1,000iu on alternate days. I'd also be tempted to add in some B12, maybe 1,000mcg for a couple of days a week.
Isn't it great when that fog lifts... it's as if the sun burst out from behind a big dark cloud
Hi, yes, sunshine at last!!! B-) I'll increase my dose and see how I get on. Thanks. Pam
Choc, May I ask was your vit d test (& ref range) from the GP?
as my on-line NHS lab test said 50 was 'adequate' - but I reckon 80 is better (even 125 optimal) but cautious as lab ranges differ according to region. (see other Vit D post above).
I would hazard to guess that ferratin seems a bit low too, but great that your fog has lifted!
Hi Jane. Yes this was a print out from the blood test from GP. A follow up from starting vit D 1000iu daily 4 months ago. Have got a consultation with him on Monday, so will discuss what this means. Don't know yet what the previous result was. Be good to know how much its gone up since then. Pam
