Rather depends what's wrong with your hair. If you are losing it because of low thyroid hormone levels, or nutritional deficiencies, a pill containing a random selection of.... stuff isn't going to make it grow again.

If, for example, the problem is low iron, the only thing that is going to help is increasing your iron levels. Have you had your nutrients tested? Are your thyroid hormone levels optimal?

webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingre... "Overview

Horsetail refers to various plant species of the Equisetum genus. It may help reduce fluid retention, but might cause vitamin B1 deficiency when used long-term .... "

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK5... "Oral forms of horsetail have been implicated in instances of serum aminotransferase elevations, but..... "

so perhaps a couple of things to be aware of re the horsetail.

am sure there was some mention of horsetail / thyroid on here too recently , but can't find it now,,, and cant remember if it was good or bad .

your hair loss more likely due to massive 50mcg per day dose reduction in Levo

Suggest you Get FULL thyroid and vitamin testing done

Your GP is yo-going your dose up and down

This will badly affect vitamin levels

Test 6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in Levo

ALWAYS test early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Test privately if GP won’t

Then FINE TUNE dose going forward

IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

endocrinenews.endocrine.org...

In days before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12 if last test result serum B12 was below 500 or active B12 (private test) under 70

I stuck at 175 because when I went to 150 I was cold again all the time I feel 175 is right for me but doctor won’t agree they didn’t test my vitamin s last time I’m taking these tablets because my hair is thin and lots of people on the reviews say they have had a lot more hair growth x

Well you need to test thyroid and vitamin levels yourself at least annually

A glorified multivitamin won’t correct thyroid related vitamin deficiencies

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Most thyroid patients on replacement thyroid hormones need to supplement vitamin D, separate magnesium and separate vitamin B complex daily and continuously

Test BEFORE starting

Some people also need separate B12 initially

Some need iron supplements, but iron should NEVER be taken without testing first as is highly toxic if you don’t need it

Never take any supplements within 2 hours of levothyroxine

Never take vitamin D tablets or gels within 4 hours of Levo …….and never take magnesium within 4 hours. Magnesium best taken afternoon or bedtime as is relaxing and improves sleep

Never take iron within 4 hours of levothyroxine or within 2 hours of any other supplements as it blocks absorption

If I were you, I would read these reviews with a very large pinch of salt… call me a cynic, but so many of these “miraculous” hair restoration products have these glowing reviews on their site but when you pays the money and get said “miraculous” hair restorer, it turns out to be nothing more than an expensive con. As you can perhaps tell, I too have been desperate enough to fall for one… never again! 🤬
