Your calcium is below range, not above. But calcium supplements are not a good idea if you can avoid them. Drinking or not drinking milk has little to do with it. Lots of other foods contain calcium:

But you really do need to get your vit D tested. If that's low it could explain why your calcium is low, and raising it will raise calcium.

Yes meant below level my Vit D was 85 last sept was 85. What about my ferritin level I've read it should be about 100 and do you think my b12 is to high? Thankyou

Well, I'm no expert on vit D, but that looks low to me. But if I were you, I'd write another post just asking about that so that the experts can reply specifically.

Yes, your ferritin is very low - didn't see that, there. But before supplementing you should get your serum iron checked because that could be high even though your ferritin is low.

B12 is fine. It's water-soluble so any excess will be excreted. :)

are any of these to do with my iron levels ?

I think so, but they all seem to be ok. However, you do need your serum iron tested. Your GP can do that. :)

Did you stop vitamin B complex 3-5 days before testing

IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results

endocrinenews.endocrine.org...

In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)

B vitamins best taken after breakfast

Igennus B complex

Perhaps Try a separate methyl folate 3 times a week and vitamin B complex 4 days per week

Unfortunately I had the blood test the next day so didn't have chance to stop my vitamins. What should the folate level be and what is a good methyl folate to get?

ALWAYS stop any supplements containing biotin at least 3 days before all tests

Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg

should I take calcium supplement

Calcium consumption has little to do with Serum Calcium. Serum Calcium is kept at very tight levels, and the body will store/recover calcium to keep that level stable.

Calcium metabolism is a complex one. It relies on so many things, such as the Parathyroid, Vitamin D, Liver proteins, the Kidneys,

2.1mmol is still borderline though, but if it drops any lower then your GP should investigate.
