My self inject B12 plan has been approved. Rejoice lol. They've said I can collect syringes and ampoules from surgery and they've ordered a sharps bin for me. Nice to have some good news 😁

Good news! I was taught, as a nurse last century, to "pinch an inch" for leg injections. You pinch an inch a couple of times, then hang on to the last pinch and inject there. Apparently it increases the blood flow to the area making the injection less painful and more efficient. Dont know if they still do this.

With a cow, you hold the injection like holding a pen, slap the rump of the cow a few times with the back of your hand, and then instantly reverse your hand and stick the needle in. This tends to stop you being kicked out of the barn, but I dont recommend it for you!

Really pleased for you.
