Taking carbimazole and ndt at the same time

I posted before with Radioiodine treatment, my last blood results in June were TSH <0.02mU/L (0.30-4.50), T4 13.4pmol/L (11-22), T3 5.3pmol/L (3.1-6.8). I had blood taken on August 21st and am struggling to get the results from the endo, I received a letter from them saying they had got the blood results and my thyroid function has improved. I am feeling so depressed and am wondering if this is from the T4 being low, I feel so desperate at times but do not want to be put on antidepressants if it is my thyroid problem. I have been taking half a 5mg tablet of carbimazole since August, I am wondering if I should stop it altogether and start a little bit of ndt, any thoughts welcome please

Why not request endo consider “block and replace “

Block with Carbimazole and replace with levothyroxine

This would improve your low Ft4

Starting on 50mcg levothyroxine

What are your most recent vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin results

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Thank you for reply SlowDragon, block and replace sounds good, I can ask endo when I see her although they are wanting me to have radioiodine treatment! Vitamin D is 91 (25-150nmol/L, folate is 20.0ug/L (above 2-5), B12 is 969 ng/L (197-771), ferritin is 91 ug/L(23-400), vitamin supplements Vit D, Vit C, magnesium, omega 3.
