I'm due to up my medication (private bloods show increase needed & symptoms back) NHS bloods due this week but I'm sweating like I was with menopause pre oestrogel? Which I'm still using? Is this side effect of teva? Be grateful for advice x

Morning can anyone advise on "hot flushes" with teva?
Many don't get on well with Teva due to excipients you could request Vencamil which is lactose free and doesn't contain acacia or mannitol (I like it 😏)
Good morning & thank you for your reply, I've been taking it for nearly 3 months, would it have taken this long to have an adverse reaction do you think? 🤔
Could well be a side effect of mannitol as it builds up in your system?

I could also be that your HRT needs a tweak as your thyroid levels adjust?
That's interesting thank you, I can up my oestrogel? But it may well be the mannitol?
I needed to up my oestrogen when raising my thyroid hormones so could be an easy first step to see if it helps? I've always dodged Teva Levo just in case but thinking about it I don't tolerate sweet potatoes or butternut squash which contain it 🤷♀️
You need to balance all or your hormones to find your happy place as they all effect each other
Thank you so much, I don't tolerate butternut squash or sweet potato either, really helpful ☺️
Do you have any other symptoms that may indicate you might need an increase on your hrt?
I found my estrogen dose roller coastered around for over a year before settling at a (so far) consistent dose.
Thank you for your reply, I've been on oestrogel for quite some time & it's worked really well, no more flushes (main problem with my menopause) this last 2 weeks the "flushes" are back, increasing in severity as are my pre medication thyroid symptoms, it's so confusing as hypothyroidism is supposed to cause us to feel cold?Which is why I wondered if it's a side effect of the levothyroxine? Opinions seem mixed? 🤔
Perimenopause/menopause can skew tye hypo symptom of feeling cold. I don't get that one either. I do get hot too fast just moving around.
It's complicated when you have menopause and hypothyroidism as the symptoms can feel similar/the same.
I'm lucky telling them apart as mt ankles and knees go stiff along with it and I don't get that one from hypothyroidism.
