can anyone tell me where I can order a test kit for venous blood draw for thyroid B12 Active folate ferritin .

My surgery will do the blood draw so won’t cost me anything that way .

I used to use Medichecks but they don’t include folate anymore.

many thanks

I've just checked the Medichecks website and it shows that the advance thyroid test kit contains folate.

medichecks.com/products/adv...

If you're looking for somewhere else then Randox is cheap or Monitor My Health. Blue Horizon another option.

Thank you for finding that.

I don’t need the antibodies tested as I don’t have Hashimoto . I just need the 3 thyroid levels

It seems to me that even if you dont need the antibodies testing, they are included in most kits that also test key vitamins.

I've complained about this myself because it seems such a waste. Antibodies should be an add on in my book, but seems that all the companies include them in their more comprehensive kits.

monitor my health don’t do the tests I need . I was in touch with them earlier and they only do finger prick tests which I don’t want

You can still fill the vials from a finger prick test kit with venous blood.

I don’t think my phlebotomist would want to do that though

Which is the kit from Medichecks that doesnt contain folate?

I'm a bit confused as to which type of kit you want to buy.

My pharmacist also takes blood. He's done that for me when I was unable to complete a finger prick test and use the lancets. He did a venous blood draw and filled the tubes.

Maybe you were reading about others on the forum not getting a folate or ferritin result due to their blood haemolysing? So they would have had to do a repeat test.
