Following on from previous post, I'm looking to book a blood test (venous draw) with either Blue Horizon or Medichecks (still can't quite decide!) at a Superdrug nurse clinic. Interested to know others experiences of using this service - are they reliable? Do either companies readily provide refunds if necessary? If the test needs to be repeated for any reason (ie lab error) do they provide this free of charge? Thanks in advance

Nothing to really choose between them as they frequently use the same lab to process the tests - usually Eurofins County Pathology. Occasionally Medichecks uses INUVI.
Check out their Ts and Cs regarding failed tests/refunds/etc

Do not know about refunds etc but as the blood draw is with a completely separate company, better check with both. I used Superdrug. It’s not all that convenient to get to from where I live (not much choice really) but the service itself was excellent. Cheerful nurse. Big drawback is I do not ever seem to get an early appointment. However I am not too bothered about my TSH reading. I go there for my T3 and T4 measures.
Glad to hear the service is good, looks like they've got quite a few positive reviews too! I checked the Superdrug clinic website and like you said, there does seem to be a shortage of early appointments - I'm in London and for me 2 clinics are conveniently located, but both have limited appointments. Have done a bit of research and compared both websites, tests available etc. Will be having the full Thyroid panel initially, then go from there. 🙂
