Quick question please

Can anyone advise re taking my magnesium with B6 in pre blood test please? I know not to take anything with biotin normally and Dr Google says there's none in B6 just wondering what you would do. It's just for a routine gp blood test including tsh, I private test normally for tsh, ft3 and ft4 but just wondered for my future blood tests. I've already stopped them for a few days just incase. Thank you all.

You can take any supplement other than a B complex or biotin right up until the blood test. AS far as I am aware its just biotin that affects results and even then it needs to be a fairly high dose so what we do is mainly to be on the safe side.

Its not going to affect your test. Incidentally there is biotin in food.
