I am trying to make a change in thyroid medication.....I was trying change over to a natural thyroid and stop my Armour thyroid 90 mcg I was doing good until last month ....got very tired, heart palpitations , joint pain ect.... been trying to get thyroid tested but could not get doctors to do ( long story ) just got result back TSH 77.300 T4 0.15 and T3 <1.0 I know this is bad and I do not want to burn my thyroid out ...I do not want to go back on Armour thyroid ...I want to change over to Thyro-Gold but unsure what dose to take that would be equivalent to Armour Thyroid 90 mcg . Hi there Spencer10Myself personally would not have stopped the medication you were on until you had another plan in place. Either way I think you need to be seen by a doctor.

I know when I enquired about T3 medication I was advised by GP it would need to be prescribed by specialty endocrine doctor.

It's a very tricky condition and you'll get lots of info and advice on here but be careful self medicating!!!
