Not sure if I am allowed to name the lab but if one of the moderators will advise I would be grateful.
To give you an idea of costs
TSH FT3 FT4 TPO Antibodies would cost £42
Thyroid Peroxidase £29
Diabetes Vitamin D Total Cholesterol Thyroid £49
They have gradually built up the tests they do. It was explained that as they have to have someone in the lab overnight for emergencies, then with the time available they perform these other tests.
If I cannot name the lab, and give the web page, please message me privately and I will provide details.

Yes lots of people use Monitor My Health, especially if just testing TSH, Ft4 and Ft3
Annoyingly they still don’t test TG antibodies. So if wanting to test for Hashimoto’s best to use Medichecks or Blue horizon
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
On T3 or NDT day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day with last dose 8-12 hours before test
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
I use this lab. They are incredibly efficient with a very fast turn around (so far) - thank you for the explanation of how an NHS hospital can do the tests. I have often wondered but never thought of that.
I used one of these labs but it was finger prick collection only and I could not get enough blood out of me. They did however refund me minus £5 for the kit, and I went elsewhere and paid for a blood draw.
Such a shame, I am sure you did all the right things as well like warming your hands, and encouraging blood into the finger by milking it down to the finger tip. I find a bowl of hand hot water to warm the hand, normally does the trick.
I certainly did, even took an aspirin prior to doing it. Unfortunately I am not good at giving up my blood. Most can’t get it from my arm and I have blood drawers taken from back of my hand quite often.
