New blood test results! Two of the important ones where missed!

On the NICE guidelines I am borderline deficient on B12 and folate! I didn’t ask for T3 but got it! It’s 5.3 pmol/ ( 3.1-6.8) and my T4 is 19.1 pmol/l (12-22) I said not to bother with TSH

Many thanks

Should I put this on the Pernicious Anemia site?

Make an appointment with GP

Your B12 and folate are far too low ……especially as you have been supplementing

You need testing for Pernicious Anaemia before starting daily B12 and daily vitamin B complex

Or possibly B12 injections

Are you vegetarian or vegan

Suggest you post on PAS Unlocked too

Thank you these are recent bloods done on Monday 9th October! As far as she is concerned my results are normal! But NICE guidelines say I’m borderline deficient in B12 and folate 🙈🙈🙈 I’m am so fatigued it’s unreal! I’ve just got results from TSH today as above and

have just had a text from Gp about my Abnormal TSH! And she wants to reduce my thyroxine! I told her the other day not to worry too much about my thyroid as I’m more interested in my low b12/ folate! Grr 😖 I have an appointment booked for tge 31st oct to see another Dr as mine is over a months wait! And have also asked for my MCV/ MCHV (haematocrit) (as if low could spell anemia! ) to be repeated as the bloods were sent to late so they weren’t able to test them! FFS 🤦 honestly I give up!

Refuse to reduce your levothyroxine

Low vitamin levels reduce TSH

If she won’t test for PA …try different GP

Or organise your own B12 injection’s privately

Lots of places offer B12 injection’s

And many members learn to self inject
