Info...
My last iron infusion was October 2022.
I started high dose vitamins tablets recommended here on 1st January 2023.
Following the March results, I switched to drops and sprays.
Ferritin
I thought the Medichecks high ferritin was a blip because my NHS tests are looking good.
The recent TDL retest was part of a full thyroid panel for a Dr as the Medichecks results were over 2 months old, it's high ferritin again. Yet my NHS test two days before (this is a routine Quarterly iron panel I have for the haemotology consultant) is showing ferritin has lowered. I'm so confused.
I will send the Medichecks and TDL results to my haemotology doctor as I have an appt next week but in the meantime is it sensible to continue supplementing with the 10mg of iron + 1000mg vitC per day?
VitD
I'm pleased this is slowly on the up and will continue with the BetterYou D3000+K2 (tastes lush!).
VitB12
This is marked as HIGH but I believe I'm aiming for higher? Am I ok to continue on PinkTribe Bcomplex drops (B12 500ug) and Nature Provides B12 drops (3000mcg) daily? (I also take daily folate drops 1000ug)
Thank you in advance!
