I don't take levo within 6/7 hrs before my blood test...

In that case your FT4 is a false high result. We should take last dose of Levo 24 hours before test (it's 8-12 hours for last dose of T3 for those that take it).

Also, we need reference ranges that come with results, ranges vary from lab to lab so we can't interpret results without the ranges that your lab uses.

If your question is about the difference in your results, it's actually very small and may be down to just natural fluctuation.

Do you have a specific question?

How do you feel?

T3 is the active hormone that every cell in our bodies need, it is the life giving hormone. Our bodies produce mainly T4 and a small amount of T3, some of that T4 is converted into T3. Some of us are poor converters and our T3 remains low compared to the amount of T4 we have, and it's low T3 that causes symptoms.

It's often the case that FT3 doesn't get tested by the lab, even when requested by the GP. It may get done if TSH is below range with a high FT4 but there's no saying what the lab decides. This is why so many of us do private tests.

I'm near finished my vit d,folic acid..3months I was on them.

Did your GP test these? What were the results originally? You should be retested now to see if you need to carry on with a reduced maintenance dose, this is especially important for Vit D. If you had Vit D deficiency then it's usually the case that supplementing is for life so it's very important to know your new result, post it on here and we can point you in the right direction of how you should follow this up.

By the way, if your HRT is tablets they should be taken at the opposite end of the day to your Levo.

Vit D serum total 21 nmol/L

Were these results from when you were originally tested and started supplements? Or are they new tests just recently done? If these aren't new tests then you need to retest now to see how your levels have changed since supplementing, hopefully there will be some improvement because your folate and Vit D were dire.

I'm not sure if by serum iron you mean ferritin - it's usually ferritin that's done when GP tests them, serum iron is different from ferritin and is generally done when a full iron panel is carried out. If it's ferritin then that result was dire too.

I imagine you'll need to carry on supplementing so if you can post new results, and include the reference ranges, we can suggest how you should go forward.

These bloods were taken before the vit d etc was prescribed over 2 months ago...I've always believed it to be my iron level 🙈..well I was always more or less anemic then after menstruation stopped the level shot up.

OK, so the best thing to do is retest and come back with new results and reference ranges and go forward from there.

Just testing TSH and Ft4 is completely inadequate

As well as Ft3 you need vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested

When were vitamin levels last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Essential to also have thyroid antibodies tested at least once

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

then suggest you retest Thyroid and vitamin levels yourself

Via Medichecks or Blue horizon

You will almost certainly need to self supplement vitamin D and vitamin B complex continuously going forward
