just a quick check to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Following a holiday to Greece I decided to test out the Uni Pharmacy T3 I bought over the counter in a Greek pharmacist. I usually take Thybon Henning but thought it might be a good idea to have a back up supply. Anyway four days in on Uni Pharma I was struggling to wake up, resting pulse down to 55 and starting to feel hypo. So today it’s back to my trusty Thybon Henning and my pulse is now nicely mid 70s. I don’t know if I got a dodgy old batch of the unipharma or if it was just my biology but taking uni pharma was like taking a sugar pill. Wondering about how others get on with uni pharma T3?

If you bought from a pharmacy then it's unlikely to be "dodgy" but just in case anyone else is experiencing a problem with Unipharma T3 it would be helpful if you could post the batch/lot number and expiry date.
Thanks SeasideSusie Sorry, don't have the batch no. I threw the box away and only have the strip to fit it into my luggage easier but is this number on the strip any help?
Is that L22-003E05-2025?
That is the batch number and expiry date that would also be on the box (it's just easier to read on the box).
That means it's manufactured in March 2022 and the expiry date is May 2025.
Maybe edit your opening post, put something in the title about the batch number/expiry date to attract the attention of anyone who may have the same ones.
Did you buy a good stash or only one or two boxes?
Does it have a different number at the other end of the blister?

With the new packaging, ie 2 strips of 15 rather than 3 strips of 10, only one end of the blister pack is imprinted with the details, it's quite a bit wider than the old strips of 10 so presumably that's why they do it like that now.
SeasideSusie ok I’ll amend my post. Just dont want to be alarmist in case the reaction was something very specific to me changing brand.
I picked up three months supply as occasionally there have been delays with my NHS T3 and I wanted a bit of insurance against having a gap with none. I suppose I’ll just take the rest to a pharmacy for disposal given it doesn’t seem a good fit for me.
OK, at least it was pharmacy price which is cheap compared to an online supplier
If it were me, I'd give it longer than four days to let my body get used to it, rather than wasting it like that. I used to take that brand and had no problems with it.
Hi there! I live in Cyprus and Uni-Pharma is the only T3 I've ever used. I'm interested to look into Thybon Henning though. Very interesting Thanks
I hi Wandererdarling and Hennerton it’s interesting to hear so much positive feedback about unipharma T3. I think greygoose is right, I probably tried to switch brands to fast and came to a decision after only four days. I’ll try again but add in a little slowly and see if that’s better.
What was the weather like when you were in Greece? Feeling like UniP T3 was a "sugar pill" could have been related to the change in environment, stress from getting there etc?
I live in Greece - from my experience and perspective, it takes our bodies 18.5 years to truly become "acclimatised" to a new environment/time zone etc.
I take UniP T3 - (for what its worth) I have noticed that very very occasionally I feel it wasn't doing its job - what I've deduced is that some tablets (due to machine calibration/manufacturing/maintenance issues) do not have the right mix of fillers to T3 i.e. some can be just filler - does that makes sense?
hi. I’m in Greece at moment and getting the same response in Athens as well as kefalonia…no Dithyron, no T3…then a shrug…nothing else similar.
They don’t seem to know why it’s a problem.
Do you get your t3 via prescription?
The latest info I have is that UniPharma have closed delivery to pharmacies because it is too cheap and the Government here refuse to allow them to raise their prices. By the way, T3 is not the only current casualty e.g. all kinds of BP meds etc are not available.
That’s not great news. I expect a lot of people rely on buying it in Greece.
I have been taking unipharma for about six years and love it. Horses for courses, as they say and I dread the day when I can no longer obtain it.
Is the UniPharma T3 still available over the counter in Greece? If so what is it called and do you need prescription? Going next month and need alternative to armour as it’s cost has double in last couple of years. I know levo is easy to get.
I spend a lot of time in summers in Greece as I’m retired. I can usually get it over the counter in a big pharmacy or they will often offer to order it in. It’s just called T3 by unipharma. I now have an NHS supply so don’t need to buy it myself anymore. Last bought some in summer 2022 no prescription asked for. Good luck, is there any chance you could get it on the NHS?
My friend gets my T3 as she works in Athens a lot. She was there a few weeks ago and every pharmacy she went in to said there is none available in the country. I have a year supply stocked up so hopefully this problem will be resolved by then otherwise I’m @£@;”!.
Sh*t ! I am lucky enough to have an NHS prescription but always liked to think I could buy in Greece if the NHS started to make changes
I saw an nhs endo last week and he refused to give me T3 only would only do T3 / levothyroxine prescription and it was mainly levothyroxine so I can’t take it
I've just bought some as it's 6 euros here in athens , uni pharma will give it a go and send over the results
