Not sure of your financial situation obviously, but if you can afford it, you can buy Thybon Henning from Roseway Labs in London with a private prescription. You need to book a phone consultation with their prescribing doctor to get the prescription. She will want to review your history but you won't have any issues with that! The appointment is less than £40 I think, it was around £32 when I last had one.
It's shocking that the NHS are leaving you with ever worsening TSH and not taking your care as an emergency. There are other types of T3 available on the NHS, Morningside is one I am aware of. But Thybon Henning is a different sort of T3 chemical I think. It suited you.
Thank u so much I will edit post as 2 other brands teva & morning side same issue looks like it hasn’t got to my thyroid at all !!! I will go straight on roseway labs now & see what I can do thanks again for taking the time & patience with my post xx
You are more than welcome. I've been buying my T3 supplies from Roseway for years now. Great service. No drama. It's just a shame we have to pay. And the prescribing doctor is lovely.
Hello I’ve been in contact with Roseway labs who now are offering me to book an appointment with prescribing doctor before I book this can u confirm they can give me a prescription for thybon henning as my doctors are refusing to write script as it’s now banned here in uk thank u xx
It's not banned here! But now we are no longer in the EU, the NHS isn't importing it due to cost and import difficulties and the German pharmacies won't fulfil our NHS prescriptions for us because they can no longer get paid if they do so now we are not in the EU!
Roseway Labs prescribing doctor will write you a private prescription for TH and you buy it from Roseway. It's really easy. Just a shame we have to buy it. But that's the way it is if we want it. Roseway are brilliant. Great customer service and speedy delivery of the products.
The doctor will write a prescription for several months at a time and the lab holds it (for me) if you don't want to buy it all upfront. I just ring up each time I need a new bottle off my prescription, pay for it and they send it. I have a Post-it on the wall to keep track of what's left on my prescription. When the prescription runs out I just call the prescribing doctor and she does the next one. Now and then she advises a new phone call booking and asks you to send in recent blood test results. It works very well.
Having said that, I think that obtaining Thybon Henning via Roseway might be the best solution - and I hope you can afford that as it also seems to solve the issue into the future.

If you want to cash your script in and try advanz pharma then you could ring or email Springfield pharmacy. They specialise in Thyroid medication and I use them to get my Morningside T3. As like you I was not able to get from any of my local pharmacies in the quantity I need. Yes, I believe it has something to do with pharmacy not being reimbursed full cost. They also say they are unable to specify to wholesalerwhat brand they need for customer.
We also shouldn't have to except that if we're prescribed 6 boxes of specified brand but they only have 2 in stock that you have to except whatever come in from wholesaler on next delivery even if it is a brand that makes you ill. Something is totally wrong with this system.
I've just had my script put on the spine and Springfield pharmacy have picked it up and will post medication to me. They do charge a delivery but worth it for peace of mind knowing I can get the brand I need.
Roseway labs for thybon henning seems best option.
Make sure you give them the PIP code. Even if it does nothing else, it helps to demonstrate that you are in possession of some good information and they should not dismiss you.
