Hi, ive been taking 10mcg t3, (half tablet) with 75mcg levothyroxine since July, i feel much better so long az I eat clean and not stress, but still feel tired. I have managed to obtain following blood tests from my gp, however vitamins not tested, ive just ordered private thyroid test to include these.

Im just curious how these results are interpreted, any advice greatly appreciated.....

Tsh 0.43 0.27-4.20

Serum free T3 4.1 3.10-6.80

So your %'s are very low:

Free T4 (fT4) 13 pmol/L (11 - 25) 14.3%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.1 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 27.0%

Is this a private or NHS Endo? They seem to be trying to keep your TSH within range which isn't going to work. You need an increase.

Hi, yes its with private endo who works alongside my nhs gp, regards blood tests, but has refused to prescribe me t3 as requested by my private endo, so I'm getting it from endo. My next appointment is February, so im hoping he will up my t3.

Is there a reason you haven't had your dose reviewed since July? Think I might be looking for a different private Endo!

I said that I was feeling a lot better at my last appointment so I assumed he thought 6 months was sufficient enough. I m hoping a t3 increase will do the trick. I will post my private bloodtest results as soon as I get them done.

I'm honestly surprised you're not feeling too bad other than tiredness with those low numbers. Symptoms do creep up on us and become part of everyday life. I'd say you need more than just some additional T3 when your FT4 is at 14%. people usually need it at around 60% with an FT3 to match.

Hi, yes to be honest, I dont feel my best, just keeping calm and stressfree, getting through my work and home life is all i can manage, im worn out by 2pmish.Thanks for your advice on bloods, i will repost private test results on different post. Hoping t3 increase very soon, now I have percentage of gp results i can mention this to my endo.
