Finally get to see Endo in 12 days. Will be interested to see if they are any use.
I have some questions that I want to ask is there anything you can suggest that maybe important for me to ask?
I had a major meltdown last week due to trying to speak with a GP about my results who was very dismissive of me. He said my TSH was in range and good. I told him that it wasnt as it is being suppressed by PTU and usually below range. He told me my T3 was good as in range and I told him I need it in high range or over to feel well. He told me to take it up with Endo as he doesn’t have time for this so I cut him off and cried non stop. So frustrating as the GP I’ve had for last 6mths has been so supportive and listened but has left and now I feel I will go back to having GP’s who don’t listen 🤯🥲
Sorry about my rant just needed to get it out.
Thanks again in advance for sharing your knowledge and understanding 🥲

Hi Allie, like you I had a bad start swinging between Hypo and Hyper all the while trying to understand what was going on. I just want to reassure you that although feeling well may come at a snail's pace, it is possible. Your GP probably knows nothing about AITD. Graves is treated by an endo. I got a second opinion and a good endo prepared to make many adjustments to my B&R until I felt well. He asked my GP to do the bloods but take no responsibility in interpreting them. I emailed the results to him along with how I was feeling. 7 years later, still on B&R and feeling well and with an understanding of how Graves affects me and confident enough to take on any GP treating me the way yours did. You'll get there too.
