Hello
My GP says these results are satisfactory but I wanted to check as I'm about to start fertility treatment.

Free T4 is 14.3 pmol
In addition my Vit B12 level is 823 ng/L which GP says is slightly high.
Thanks for any help

Do you have the reference ranges for those results? It is much easier to interpret results with ranges supplied.
For example, with some reference ranges a Free T4 of 14.3 would be well below mid-range. With a different reference range it could be above range.
Ref ranges on my results sheet:
Free T4 10-22 and I am 14.3
Tsh 0.27 to 4.2 and I am 0.47
Thanks
Free T4 10-22 and I am 14.3 35.83% through the range
Tsh 0.27 to 4.2 and I am 0.47 In range
A result of approximately 36% through the range for Free T4 is not enough for most of use taking T4 in any form. Many of us need a level around 60% - 80% of the way through range in order to have a hope of feeling well.
Being someone with hypothyroidism myself I'm afraid I can't make much comment on TSH. Free T3 is much more important to someone with hypothyroidism. Every single cell in the human body needs T3 and unfortunately taking T3 in any form tends to push TSH down.
The fact that your TSH is in range despite the fact you are taking T3 in NDT suggests that you are probably under-medicated.
In addition my Vit B12 level is 823 ng/L which GP says is slightly high.
I would disagree with your doctor. Vitamin B12 is non-toxic and it won't do any harm if you go over the range. Personally I supplement with a Vitamin B Complex, methylcobalamin (a form of B12), and methylfolate, and my level has been as high as > 256 pmol/L in an Active B12 test, and > 2000 ng/L in a serum B12 test. I aim to never let it get lower than 1000 ng/L or 100 pmol/L.
I had what appeared to be "teenage spots" until I was in my 50s. It was excruciatingly embarrassing. Once I got my B12 up pretty high the problem went away for the first time in my life since hitting puberty. It starts to come back if I let my B12 level drop according to either the serum or the active B12 test.
I have the same issue with eczema. That started appearing when I was about 9 or 10 or so, and I still had that until I was in my 50s. Since I took lots of B12 and continue to take lots of B12 my eczema is about 98% better, although I do still get the very, very occasional tiny patch. So nobody will convince me that high B12 is toxic, and honestly I don't think I would care if it was. I like not having spots and eczema!

Note that in order to make use of your B12, your body must have sufficient folate.

You say you don’t drink cows milk
Are you lactose intolerant and on completely dairy free diet….or you just don’t like milk
Sorry the results today are for my wife. I am on levothyroxine 25mg daily and all my results are now in the 'normal' category. I'm not lactose intolerant I just don't like the taste of milk!!
My wife isn't taking any medication she just had her thyroid tested as part of fertility screening and her tsh seemed very low to me....
One other point
It’s suggested by research that both folate and B12 are POSSIBLY Goldilocks vitamins for pregnancy…..not too much or too little
