Blood tests and covid jab

Hi all, my mum is due to have her covid jab this week and then blood tests a week later to check her thyroid levels (she had her T3 trial stopped 6 weeks ago - story for another day).

Is it possible the jab may interfere with her blood test results?

Nobody can tell you for sure how she may react. We are all different.

Just by coincidence I happened to do a thyroid function test 10 days after my booster last November (different brand to my core vaccines) and my FT3 had shot up to 95% through range when normally it's in the 70% area. I then tested again 2 months after that and it was at 100% through range (January 2022). I reduced my dose of T3 and it gradually lowered back to normal around June. However, my test in September showed FT3 at 35% so I then had to increase my FT3 back to my original dose.

So for me it definitely messed with my FT3 level big time, and to a lesser extent FT4 as well.
