was on Armour in first half of year 1.5 grain tsh around 2.4

Then in summer July swapped to Metatvive bovine 80mg am 40mg pm to try save money but only just had bloods so been about 12 weeks and tsh 5.23!

Also fought to get liothyronine again so asked for 15 mcg 3 x 5mg pills

On the conversion chart I found

Armour is 1.5 grain = 150 levo

5 t3 = 25 levo?

Can anyone advise what I can use with the t3 other than Metatvive ? And how to space it out throughout the day or shall I take it all at once I used to just take it in the am as I want to increase my t4 levels

So far I am trying 80mg metavive and 5 t3 then I was going to gradually add the other two 5 pills next two weeks to see if that helps bring my tsh down to around 1 or under?

I didnt no whether to try nutri thyroid again with the t3 as I had a reaction to levo so I didnt want to try it again not been on it for 4 years but I dont really want to take t3 on its own any ideas as I have high cocortisol on the salavia test so trying a herbal tincture to see if it helps

My current levels just on metatvive bovine 80 am 40 pm are since july

Tsh 5.23 (iam very hypo symptoms) and got very low iron too causing issues

T4 13.2 gone up as only 10 on armour ?

T3 is 5.1

Iron is

Serum iron 9 (10-30ml)

Transferrin level 3.21

Sat iron binding capacity 73% (37-77)

Percentage iron saturation 12 (25-50%)

Serum B12 650 (200-900)

Serum Magnesium 0.86 (0.70-1)

Diet: eat vegan / veg diet usually fish and vegan alternative for protien / gluten free / dairy odd occasions ie cheese / chocolate I also had suffered bad helicobacter infection caught from a dog took a yyear to clear with 5/ 6 rounds off triple therapy antibiotics so gut / stomach is supsuper sensitive now and till get bad burning but came off lansoprozal and nizitadine and tryed betain hcl caps but not much helps just trying hemp oil for pain and has helped with the burning!

I also have high antibodies and recently showed positive for the lymes bacteria on ththe armin labs test to need to start protocol yet with naturopath for that

Would be grateful of any ideas!

No vitamin D or folate results?

No ferritin result?

Iron levels look very poor

What’s GP doing about low iron levels?

You need to increase iron rich foods in your diet

Eating iron rich foods like liver or liver pate once a week plus other red meat, pumpkin seeds and dark chocolate, plus daily orange juice or other vitamin C rich drink can help improve iron absorption

This is interesting because I have noticed that many patients with Hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism, start to feel worse when their ferritin drops below 80 and usually there is hair loss when it drops below 50.

Never supplement iron without doing full iron panel test for anaemia first and retest 3-4 times a year if self supplementing. It’s possible to have low ferritin but high iron
