I have recently been given a prescription for T3 and am looking for the best brand. I have many different allergies and am quite sensitive to fillers etc.
Is there any brand that doesn't have lactose, corn starch, soya and citric acid (allergic to each).
The script I have been given is for 20mg tablets that I should split into 5mg doses
Thanks:).

I have the same problem, I've tried T4 teva lactose free but it still contains mannitol ( a filler) but endo said I was either not absorbing or converting it, so got on to T3 teva.. This restored my T3 level but gave me a bad metallic taste in my mouth, but no stomach or gut issues 👍 hope you manage to get the tablets that work for you.. I posted a little thing up today about thyroid drugs as I'm sitting in A&E.. 🙄
All the information you need is either in my medicines document, or you can follow links.
I'm not hopeful - from memory.
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
I have created, and try to maintain, a document containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world. It is sectioned by UK - rest of the world, and by T4, T3, desiccated thyroid, etc.
My endo prescribed Thybon Henning as he said it was better tolerated than some others. It comes in 20mcg tablets. They are easy to break into quarters.
