wondered if anyone could help me understand my lab results please. I have under active thyroid and sent off a test to see if I’m on right amount of Levothyroxine )75.
I’m particularly worried about the Thyroglobulin Antibodies that seem very high. Also the Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies also high .

Your raised antibodies confirm autoimmune thyroid disease, known to patients as Hashimoto's. Therefore the cause of your hypothyroidism is autoimmune, the most common cause. Hashi's isn't treated, it's the resulting hypothyroidism that is treated.
Your vitamins are all at good levels, as is your ferritin.
Your thyroid results appear to suggest that you are undermedicated.
How do you feel?
When did you take your last dose of Levo before the test?
We always advise:
* Test no later than 9am
* Nothing but water before the test
* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before test
* No biotin, B Complex or any supplement containng biotin for 3-7 days before the test.
The aim of a treated hypo patient on Levo only, generally, is for TSH to be 1 or below with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of their reference ranges, if that is where you feel well.
If you feel symptomatic then your TSH is too high, your FT4 is just 50% through range and your FT3 is a mere 16.49% through range. Your FT4 and FT3 results suggest that your conversion of T4 to T3 is poor, they should be better balanced.
