Hi all
I recently posted here, getting excellent advice from SlowDragon
Https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148188526/need-help-with-diagnosis
I have now got my latest results and need help as I feel I'm going crazy as tests are not showing much/in range.
I have a condition called EDS
, which is being linked more and more to causing thyroid problems
ohtwist.com/january-is-thyr...
It causes many autoimmune problems, along side sibo and leaky gut. Due to these problems I have been on a very strict autoimmune diet for the past 5yrs (and intro/stage 1o f the gap's diet for the last 2yrs). These diets are obviously meant to reduce autoimmune problems, including Hasimotos.
My question was could being on these diets cause my bloods to hide a thyroid issue? I got TPO and TG tested, and I would think that if I didn't have a problem then the results should be much lower due to the autoimmune diet.( In range but high up the range)
I have had my eds and bowel problems under control for the last 5yrs, but about 2yrs ago my body started shutting down showing possible symptom pointing to a thyroid issue (hypo)and they run in my family.
Here are my latest bloods
