Autoimmunity

Well, you look a tad under-medicated - we're all different, and I would want my FT3 a lot higher than that. So, how do you feel? How much levo are you taking?

Sorry, didn't realise you weren't medicated at all! Just had a look at your previous post, and I see that Susie suggested it could be Central Hypo. Your FT4 is a little higher in this set of results, FT3 a little higher, TSH a little lower, but pretty much the same over-all. Were both tests done at the same time of day?

Hi

The tests were done a month apart, same time (10.30am)

OK, well, at 10.30 am, your TSH would be lower than it would be at 8 or 9 am. And, as you need the highest possible TSH to get diagnosed, we always advise people to have the blood draw as early as possible in the morning. But, it's unlikely that even then your TSH would be high enough to get you a diagnosis with a conventional GP, who like TSH to be over 10! Rediculous, I know, but that's the way it is with the NHS. Still, getting over-range would be a start. Or, you need to find a doctor that knows something about Central Hypo, to do further testing.

TSH 1.33 mU/L (Range: 0.27 - 4.2)Free T3 4.70 pmol/L (Range: 3.1 - 6.8) 43%

Free Thyroxine 14.3 pmol/L (Range: 12 - 22) 23%

What time of day was test taken?

Confirming you have no diagnosis & do not take replacement hormone?

Your results are euthyroid and antibodies negative so doctor would say no issue to treat.

Your FT4 is lower within range. It’s also unusual to see FT3 higher in range % compared to FT4.

Sometimes the body preserves FT3 levels when levels are declining. In which case your levels need monitoring again in future.
