I took photo with iPad, e mailed it to my PC , saved it in photos , when I tried to upload it it said no. The document /photo has mst after it ie spreadsheet.mst so looks like it doesn’t have jpg or jpeg or png after it, any idea how I can sort please

is pc not an Apple?

click on photo and open it on computer

You should be able to “export” image as jpeg

Save to desktop

Then should be able to add jpeg to post

as far as i know a PC is not Apple or a slide rule :-), my PC is Dell etc, got it sorted for now though, seems just a matter of copy and paste, its posted now, I think, thanks for trying though

I have just been checking.

If you are using a PC:

Select the cells.

Ctrl + C

Then, in the post you are making, do Ctrl + V.

If you are using a Mac:

Select the cells.

Command + C

Then, in the post you are making, do Command + V.

If you are using an iPad of an iPhone:

I have just been trying in Excel on an iPhone and it doesn't work as we might expect/hope.

On an iPad, you can do a screenshot:

support.apple.com/en-gb/gui...

Then add that image to the post you are making.

(Might be slightly different on an iPhone than an iPad.)

Photos are not a good idea unless they cannot be avoid. You ended up having difficulties with lighting, moire fringing, etc.

Copy and paste of images is something that has only been implemented in the relatively recent past.

And there are (or were) slight differences between doing it on the first post of a thread and on subsequent replies!

So long as it worked. :-)

Editing!

An image on the first post gets scaled and that is that.

On replies, it gets scaled down and you have a {+} sign which can be used to expand it.
