Vitamin D and K2

I have just purchased Vit D3000+K2 as an oral spray from Better You. From my previous post, I realise that K2MK7 was recommended, what is the difference between K2 and K2 MK7 please?

The MK7 is natural, derived from soy (but not the unhelpful bit of soy). The other one is synthetic and does not stay in the body for very long, so you would have to multi-dose for it to be useful.

Vit K comes in two forms - K1 and K2.

When it says K2 there are two forms - MK4 and MK7.

MK7 is recommended as it stays in the body longer, MK4 has to be dosed several times a day.

The Better You spray contains MK7.

I don't know what the packaging says but if you go to their website it tells you it's K2-MK7

We use the BetterYou spray. It conveniently has both D3 and K2 (MK7) and does increase vit D levels in accordance with the dose though I cant compare with soft gels as AlicesMother apparently can.

Thank you, the spray appealed to me as it bypasses the gut

Just to add, you need 3 sprays to get the 3000
