Is it safe for those with Hashimoto’s to be vaccinated for covid?

I don't have Hashimoto's but there are around 2,000,000 people in the UK with hypothyroidism most of whom have been vaccinated at least once. Therefore I don't think there is any problem with hypothyroid people being vaccinated.
If the vaccine were to cause problems it is most likely that COVID-19 in an unvaccinated person would cause much more serious problems. In my view vaccination is the much safer option, especially as countries open up and all restrictions are removed.
I have Hashi's, and I've had three vaccins for covid. I felt a little rough after the third one, but the other two were fine. However, the important thing is that I'm still here, four months later, none the worse for wear - much better than dying of covid!

We have polls running where members have detailed their experiences of the vaccines. They're a long read but you should find any information you need there. We don't allow discussion of the vaccine on the main forum because this causes arguments between anti and pro vaxxers and the Admin team don't have time to moderate those posts, hence the dedicated poll threads. I will close this post to further replies.
Feel free to check out the polls:
