According to GPS surgery I am taking 125 of Levo with a TSH of 0.01 and T4 22.3! Have purchased some Tiromel and had a Medichecks blood test after 8 weeks. They couldn’t do TSH. T4 the same and with 12.5 of lio. T3 now 5.75. Without T3 3.89.
Now what?

So FT4 is slightly over Medichecks range of 12-22 if it's 22.3. What is the range of your GP FT4 test?
Did you do your test as we always advise:
* Blood draw no later than 9am.
* Nothing to eat or drink except water before the blood draw. This is because eating can lower TSH and coffee can affect TSH.
* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before blood draw, last dose of T3 8-12 hours before blood draw, splitting T3 dose into 2 the day before and taking 2nd part of the dose 8-12 hours before test. This avoids measuring hormone levels at their peak after ingestion of hormone replacement. Take your thyroid meds after the blood draw. Taking your dose too close to the blood draw will give false high results, leaving any longer gap will give false low results.
* If you take Biotin or a B Complex containing Biotin (B7), did youleave this off for 7 days before any blood test. This is because if Biotin is used in the testing procedure it can give false results (most labs use biotin).
Did you lower your dose of Levo when you added your T3?
