What tests should I get done next?

Hi all

I'm Hashi's since 2008. Started T4 then and last year added in T3.

My Endo increased my dose at the last appointment so now I take:

150 msg T4 6 days a week and 100 mcg 1 day a week

10 mcg T3 per day (5mcg on waking and 5 msg at 2.30pm)

Note to the last bloods were taken when I was on a slightly lower dose.

I'm still not feeling quite right and still get lethargy and fatigue as well as tight/stiff muscles.

My weight is also stuck at the same level despite eating relatively health, all home cooked food high in veg and low in carbs (note I still eat carbs, just keep them lowish). I eat more healthy than all of my friends and work colleagues if that makes sense.

I do no exercise, aside from walking once or twice a week, as I don’t have the energy.

TBH the first few weeks on T3 were a dream and then it went a little backwards, don't know if that was just placebo or what. I'm still bitter on T3 than without it so will not be looking to stop using it.

Question is whether this is something to do with adrenals? If so what blood tests to check? I understand that adding T3 can put a strain on the adrenals.

My testosterone and SHBG are also on the low side (I am a male) and have been for several years.

Last set of bloods attached, note these are on a lower dose to what I am on now.

Due blood tests next week so any suggests for what to test would be gratefully appreciated.

Folate, Vit D, B12 and Ferritin/Iron are all fine so we don't need to explore these.

Some interesting results, do you find the T3 has helped you as I’m trying to convince Dr to prescribe me it too

T3 has been life changing for me, if you look at my profile and you can see my posts from October-November 2020 which documents my experience in the first 2 months of taking T3.

what's the ft4/ft3 supposed to be? I've not heard of that before? (Or maybe I have but just forgotten 🤣)

It’s a ratio of T4/T3, just another way of working out it there’s not enough conversion of T4 to T3.

If the ratio is high then there’s not enough conversion as that means there’s lots of T4 but not enough T3 in comparison.

It’s a guiding calculation rather than something that’s diagnostic
