Although the price of liothyronine has decreased quite a lot over the last couple of years, it is STILL extortionate!

This petition really needs your support. Even if you don't have to pay for your own T3 medication, or don't need this medication, your signature on this petition will contribute towards bringing this matter to the forefront again.

Our NI contributions are meant to support the running of our National Health Service, not to add to the already overflowing coffers of unscrupulous pharma companies.

I have a suspicion that a member of government would laugh their socks off at this petition. The idea that a profit-making opportunity would be owned by the public would be unthinkable. After all, governments privatise profits and make debts public.

You may be right. But if it brings the pharma rip-off schemes back up to the top of the leaderboard, then it will serve some purpose .
