It really is better to post an image of the pdf list of results/ranges which I think I mentioned in reply to your previous post. It would have also shown your iron panel, did you have the full iron panel including TIBC and Transferrin Saturation as well as Ferritin and Serum Iron? It all needs to be taken into account. If so please change your picture so we can see the whole of your iron panel. I also do believe that Thriva's folate range is 8.83-60.8 as shown in this member's pdf list of results:
Folate: 39.7 ( 8.83 - 45 ) although I believe the range to be 8.83-60.8 unless they have changed it recently.
B12: 150 ( 37.5 - 150 )
Please advise on B12 & Folate supplement
maintenance dose
Im start taking Basic B Complex ( Thorne )
include B12 400mcg & Folate 400mcg
Should I take 1 capsure or 2 daily?
Folate is recommended to be at least half way through range so that's 35+ with the range I believe it to be, if it's the range you have quoted then it's close to the top of the range. Active B12 is suggested to be over 100.
Have you already been taking a B Complex or a B12 or folate supplement?
Based on these results you have no need to supplement B12 (our store is said to be good for 2 years) and your folate is at a decent level. If you want to take the Thorne Basic B then I would suggest taking it just a couple of days a week only.
I assume you upload them the same way as you uploaded your other image, I don't have a smart phone so I have no idea how it works. If you can't do it then type in the results of your full iron panel with the normal ranges.
Also I have already taken Thorne Basic B for 2 days now
As I mentioned, your B12 and Folate results are already good so I wouldn't take them for more than 2 days per week and only 1 capsule per day. Pick 2 days which are easy to remember, maybe the weekend. There is absolutely no point in wasting money on taking supplements you don't need, and as I use Thorne Basic B I know it's not a cheap supplement.
