Just been looking at the blood test form for next time. It has ferritin on it as apparently it was high last time. The GP didn't mention that so I don't know what the value was! She did mention liver results were a bit high but nothing else. Also slightly odd, is it's only asking for T3 and TSH, no T4 or antibodies. Does that sound right?

If your ferritin was high last time then it's good that your GP is retesting to check it.
Looking at your profile, previous posts tell us that you have Hashi's so there's no point in retesting antibodies.
As for testing TSH and FT3 but not FT4, you don't tell us what thyroid medication you take, that may have some bearing. But the FT3 test is the most important one anyway, T3 is the active hormone that every cell in our bodies need so that's the test that tells us if we are over or under medicated. Most of us can't get FT3 tested.
It would be a good idea, after any blood test, to ask the receptionist at your surgery for a print out of the results, that way you can keep an eye on things yourself and if any results are out of range you can discuss them with your GP.
Hi. Milk Thistle from a reputable health store is good for liver levels being high. If you can take the blood results to the health store and the staff can look them over and advise you on a product to help reduce your levels.
