Your TSH is too high and your free T4 and free T3 are too low. BUT that's not the end of the issue. if you're not currently on thyroid meds.Your profile says you're Nigerian, but I'm not sure if that means you live there or that is your heritage. I don't know what the rules are in Nigeria, but If you live in the UK, you will not be treated as hypo (under-active thyroid) until you your TSH goes even higher than it is at the moment - sometimes as high as 10 ; although you can be treated with a lower TSH if you also have over-range thyroid antibodies, indicating Hashimoto's disease. Hashi's is the biggest single cause of an under-active thyroid. The blood results in the photo don't give a reading for antibodies.

SO I would go back to the GP and point out that your TSH is over-range and free T4 and free T3 are very low (free T3 is actually under-range) - and as for a second test of TSH and for all thyroid antibodies to be tested. Make sure you have an early morning blood test, as this is when TSH is highest, and if you are taking any supplements with biotin in, stop these a week before the test to make sure the biotin doesn't give a false reading.

While you are talking to the GP, explain your symptoms [there's a list on the main Thyroid UK site which you can use as a check-list too] and ask him/her if s/he will give you a trial of levo if you have a second over-range TSH result [the NHS like you to have two over-range results first]. If you do get levo, make sure you take it every day, on an empty stomach, just with water, two hours after or one hour before other food or drink. And re-test after 8 weeks to see if you need a dose increase - you will be given a low "starter dose" initially.

Good luck :)

Your FT3 is below the bottom of the lab range showing that your thyroid cannot make enough thyroid hormone even if your FT4 is just within the lab range. This is increasing TSH which is elevated above lab range. On this basis a trial of levothyroxine would be sensible although the doctor may wish to repeat the test first.
