T3 bad batch?

Hello, dear people!

I've taken Uni-Pharma T3 since last year and all the batches have worked fine. I take it sublingually and chew the tablet first. This way I feel the effect and benefit of the product in the first minutes (just like I've always felt with any ndt products that used to work well). Now, I just received a new batch and from then on I've gone really hypo! Body temperature that usually went up to near 37c has been stuck on 36 and this morning I woke up with 35, feeling constantly really cold (also as compared to my family). Yesterday evening felt extremely cold and weak, crashed in bed. This is unusual. The expire date of this batch is 07/2023. One thing that I notice for the first time is that the surface of these tablets are harder and when I chew the tablet there's something that sticks to my teeth and I feel like there's nothing to put under my tongue to dissolve, the tablet "disappears" (except the sticky pieces). Maybe they have made some new coating or stuff and that interferes with the absorption? What I'm asking is that if anyone else has had the same problem or is it just me? And what can be the cause?

Thanks in advance,

Liis

Where do you get your T3 from please

Probably not a good idea asking someone who seems to be questioning whether they have a bad batch where they got it from! :-)

I have a batch exp 01/23 in the new packaging and am finding them harder to cut as they crumble so maybe they have changed the ingredients?

Thankfully don’t feel any different 🤞

The tablets feel to me unusually harder. As I'm chewing the tablets and keep them under tongue to let them dissolve I feel a great difference now. The tablet is sticky on my teeth after chewing not powdery as before. Difficult to take sublingually.

How long does it take to feel the "effect" of t3 after swallowing a tablet or is it not as noticeable as when taken sublingually? As I'm used to taking the doses at certain times, should I do it earlier if swallowing in case my digestion is slow (and sometimes it really is with other things)?

Do you have the Patient Information Leaflet (or equivalent in Greece)?

That should have a list of ingredients.

Maybe you could photograph the relevant bit and add it to the post at the start of this thread? Even if it is Greek, someone can probably make it out.

I checked the ingredients and the list is the same as before. I thought, maybe the factory has overdosed some ingredient in this batch and it makes it difficult for me personally to absorb the hormone or something like that. Just an assumption of course. One of the admins has the same batch and we compared the numbers and all. I believe the product is authentic. If only I knew what's the reason in me that this batch makes so huge difference. I think I tend to have a problem with some fillers or ingredients but not sure which ones. I rushed to make a new order after receiving this batch before I knew the effect of it. Once I receive the new order and the tablets happen to be from a different batch I could say what's the difference. I guess I must wait.

I also tried to just cut the tablet into pieces or crush it before taking sublingually but none of these methods have made a difference. Unusually low temperature below 36, swelling in legs and other hypo issues. Blows my mind.

Just checking you are aware that this thread is over two years old?

It is fine to add to it - but want to make sure you and anyone else seeing it knows! :-)

Yes thank you. It was all I could find so I was hoping someone would have knowledge of the change in packaging and pills in the uniparma

Hi I replied to you about the pills not splitting the same , I’ve been feeling shakey inside and tired the past week as if I’m coming down with something now wondering if it’s the T3 ? I’ve been taking this batch for about a month , speaking to my Endo tomorrow and will get bloods done , feel like I’m hyper, I don’t want to reduce until after my bloods but feeling rubbish 😞

Sorry dear to hear that. I'm having internal shaking again last mornings right after I wake up. Hands get sweaty like what...adrenaline? But I feel rather hypo than hyper. Because everything is constantly blurry. And I'm swelling. Daily life has become exhausting. I have below range morning saliva cortisol so I'm really sensitive to changes in thyroid meds and batches. I should receive a new order of the same T3 soon, don't know which batch. So I can tell if I feel any change. Going to your endo is a good idea. <3

Hi! How are you feeling now? How was your doctor visit?

Hi it was a telephone appointment, so am getting my bloods done , he was concerned about my Dexa scan as my bone density has dropped 5% in my spine and 6% in my hips as wants me to take calcium & vitamin D on prescription??? . I’ve always felt better with a suppressed TSH and he mentioned that so ready for him to try reduce my T4 or T3 - I’m feeling ok so think the unipharma are ok - how are you feeling ?

Oh that's great you're better! I remember that calcitonin in ndt might be good for such bone problems? I'm taking vitamin D drops here in our dark climate but most of the time forget to do it lol. I can't say I'm feeling much better although my temperature has gone back to normal I guess. I was stuck in a warm country almost for 6 months during this pandemic (until August), so my body maybe got used to not having to cope with cold temperatures that is happening now. Hot beach weather always improves my self feeling.

I started to feel pressure in my kidney area since I complained about the new batch. But maybe it was my bowels. 4 days ago I started to have real stomach trouble (pain, gas, nausea), every time I ate the food triggered it. With empty stomach better. So I eliminated anything from my menu that can upset stomach. Then even water gave the same effect. Today better. Yesterday avoided all coffee...ate only banana, yogurt, rice etc. And today is the 3d I've done oil pulling. I gave it a try. Maybe it can really heal something. :) Wish I had some older batch of the T3. My life is like on hold right now.

Sorry to hear that , with so many viruses and covid it could be anything, I think the T3 is ok for me , I hate it when they change things mine are in new packaging so I’m just going to go with it until after my bloods - had so many problems with pharmacy not being able to get my regular mercury pharma Thyroxine and I had to try different brands which has not being good for me I think my body needs calm , will see what the bloods show ?

I think it has to do with our adrenal glands how the body accepts/processes/tolerates what we put in it, especially with adrenal hormone imbalance. After all these glands react to stress, in adrenal fatigue anything can be stress. Maybe, that's why some people don't notice the changes in different batches and others do more. But it can be more specific than that of course. Just thinking out loud. It seems to be my case.

Hello how are you holding up now?

I'm now using the mexican T3 and have survived. But I don't like it as much as the well working Unipharma batches. Thanks for asking :) Btw...my doctor thought based on urine test that I had some urinary tract infection. Prescribed antibiotics that I saw for the first time ever. Those messed up my stomach like amoxicillin for example doesn't. So I couldn't even do the full treatment. But it's ok.

I have also turned to homeopathy these days. Learning about it and have tried it. I like its holistic approach.

From there on...based on my own troubles I'm convinced that everything that takes place inside my head expands directly or indirectly to my bodily health. For me stress management is imperative.

Hey! Haven't posted here for a while. Does anyone know what is the latest lot number of Unipharma T3 (if I may ask about it here)? The one I got had a lot number 20-01 (EXP 07-2023). Has there any later one been produced meanwhile? Thank you, who knows the answer and wishing everyone good health! :)
