Recently received an order or Tiromel from a supplier known and recommended through the group and am having undermedicated symptoms. I have written to the supplier but wondered if anyone else had ever experienced this? Bit lost as to what to do as my confidence is shaken and I am worried I have counterfeit tablets and no alternative supplier.

Bad batch of Tiromel?
What is the batch/lot number and expiry date? I will check to see if it has been reported as suspect before.
the batch is 22E619, expiry 09/2023
Thanks!
OK, so that's a very recent batch. Latest report of a suspect batch was one produced in 2020.
You could edit your post title and put the batch number there and ask if any other members have this batch and have found it to be ineffective.
Also, send me a private message with the supplier details and I can check to see if I have any recent feedback on them.
Just to be sure, you did keep them in a cool place during the recent heatwave? I think below 25C is recommended. I know I had to move something of mine as most rooms got very warm.
Could it be your Hashi's though, I don't have Hashi's myself but understand that symptoms and results can fluctuate.
I only received it 5 days ago so not a storage issue and have gone off a cliff edge symptom wise since changing to the new tablets. The supplier has said they will check with manufacturer and has offered to resend so I will try that. Just wanted to see if anyone else had issues.
Storage/temperature may have been an issue with the supplier or on the journey. If it's come from overseas they have had higher temperatures than we have had.
I think you should do a thyroid test now to check your levels before starting any new tablets. You can then compare with previous levels when well and then retest 6-8 weeks after starting new tablets.
Get TSH, FT4 and FT3 done, privately if necessary with Monitor My Health - £26.10 with code for fingerprick test:

Remember to do test as we advise:
* No later than 9am
* Water only before the test
* Split T3 into 2 or 3 doses the day before with last dose 8-12 hours before the test. If you take Levo then last dose should be 24 hours before test.
* No biotin, B Complex or any supplement containing biotin for 3-7 days before the test.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had issues.
Edit title to include batch number if you want responses from members.
My new pack of Tiromel which arrived today has same expiry date 09/23 and batch no. 22E622. I will let you know how I get on with them after a few days. Hopefully they are ok!
yes for 2 years with no issue from the same supplier.
