Recall of Nature-Throid and WP Thyroid

Hello all

Would anyone know where I could buy NDT thyroid pills. Due to the above recall, I'm finding it difficult to buy any, I know that a few people were asking the other day if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.

I was taking NatureThroid and have switched to EcoThyro 34. It's NDT from cows instead of pigs. But I feel undermedicated even though its slightly higher mg. I also take 50 mcg of Synthroid. I'm told I have to wait 4 to 5 weeks to be tested. I have gained weight around the middle, actually ascites (fluid), and don't know if that's playing a part or if it's continued intestinal infection after having C. diff in June. Hopefully someone will answer as to other NDTs available. I can't recall the names right now other than some say Armour still works. But it gave me headaches and hypo symptoms after it was reformulated in 2009, plus it's expensive, so I'm staying away from it. stopthethyroidmadness.com is a good resource for what's available and people's experiences with them.
