Please could someone message me a Doctor willing to prescribe NDT in Lincs.
18 years post thyroidectomy after NHS prescription for NDT and T3 all this time my prescriptions have been withdrawn. At present I have no prescription at all and no thyroid. I am willing to pay to survive, any suggestions welcome by private message. Thank you

Thank you, I have been told it is financial, I am not 'equitable'. I have no thyroid, can't take thyroxine because of inflammatory bowel disease exacerbated by it. I am so distressed that whilst the UK spends billions on Covid, they dump me, a former NHS worker, on April 6 th this year during lockdown.
As I have told others, it is possible that a NHS consultant (for any illness EXCEPT hypothyroidism) in a major hospital in your county, has been appointed to prescribe NDT to patients who complain too much about levothyroxine. Ask your GP or your CCG about this. The prescriptions will be PRIVATE, ie you will have to pay, but it is likely there will be no additional consultation charges.
I believe you should complain strongly about the withdrawal of your life-giving hormones and regarding NDT it was the British Thyroid Association which did this awful decision.
One of TUKs Adviser's wrote every year for three years to the Association for a response to his communication but they never did.
They've been looking for an excuse to withdraw this important thyroid hormone replacement for many, many people. Just like they did with T3 - extortionate rise in cost but can be sourced elsewhere more cheaply.
Considering that NDT saved lives from 1892 and still does today it is more than shocking that it has been withdrawn.
I'd complain to your local MP as you have been left without an option, or to take a product that doesn't improve your health at all.
What type of medical personnel can make False Statements, which patients clearly know untruthful, to remove it from being prescibed.
Thank you, I feel less defeated and more able to challenge this ridiculous decision by the NHS. I will write to my MP as you suggest, 18 years is a long time for the NHS to consider my thyroid hormones should be prescribed on clinical need so the reasons for withdrawing the prescription have to be financial. Thanks again
Also I think it is very important for hypo patients to disagree with the decision - which has been based on lies and misinformation in order to get it withdrawn.
The fact that it saved lives from 1892 onwards and we were diagnosed without blood test results, but on the expertise of the doctors. In fact, it seems to many on this forum that few doctors are experienced on clinical symptoms - they only refer to the TSH if it is tested. Also they are unaware of any clinical symptoms at all and we used to be diagnosed on symptoms alone (before blood tests were introduced along with levo). People were given a trial of NDT and if they improved they stayed on it.
Even make an appointment to see your MP in his 'surgery'. Sometimes a face-to-face consultation is best.
