I'm new to this forum though not to hypothyroidism for which I have taken Levothyroxine for years. I haven't felt well on it either though put it down to CFS. I would like to go on NDT and wondering if anyone knows of a prescribing doctor in the Staffordshire or W Midlands area. I am based in Stafford.
Many thanks.

Perhaps you should post your latest blood test results with ranges for comment before making a change .There seem to be many suffering from under medication on levothyroxine. Results for : TSH,FT4,FT3, ferritin,folate,B12 and D3.
TSH 0.34 indicates you are adequately dosed but we would need to see the FT4 ref range to determine whether FT4 is good or not. The ref range is usually shown as figures in brackets after the results ie 12 - 22.
If you post your recent thryoid results and ranges members will advise whether you are optimally dosed on Levothyroxine.
Email dionne.fulcher@thyroiduk.org for a list of member recommended endocrinologists and private practitioners.
NDT isn't licensed for UK use so it is rarely prescribed on the NHS and not all private doctors support prescribing it so check with their offices before you confirm an appointment.
Most members using NDT have private prescriptions or buy online and self medicate.
