I'm just looking for a bit of advice on my last bloods done on June 26th
Information: I'm on T3 teva 20mg I've since increased the dose to 40mg in increments of 5mg..my T4 is 1.8 pmol/L) ranges... 11.00-22.00 pmol/L)
My endocrinologist says this is to be expected as I'm on T3 only, my gp has requested her to action the results but she has not responded as yet..
He also requested her to action the increase of T3 as she told my gp it was a short acting medication but nothing was done so I took this in to my own hands after talking on her and receiving some advice on increasing it myself,
I also have a raised PTH level.. 8.1..pmol/L.. Range.. 1.6-6.90pmol/L
Should I be looking to getting T4 added???
My endocrinologist is waisting time in looking for raised calcium levels but this is not needed to diagnose primary hyperparathyroidism you can have both pth and calcium raised or just pth or just calcium raised.. I'm having a lot of sharp pains in my throat and sometimes find swollowing uncomfortable Im having all the symptoms of hyperparathyroidism as I've had this condition before, my endocrinologist is doing nothing just looking for calcium, coupled with this and having no thyroid is impacting me very badly I've spend most days in bed feeling really sick. I've just rang the endocrinology dep to get my last bloods done on Thursday 6th August because the nurse who done them said they would only take 2 days as their important but no results as yet... So sick of this I've requested to see an endo but this as fell on deaf ears.. 😢😢
Any advice would be appreciated I'm so ill and lost... 😭😭😭😭😭

I'm sorry you feel so bad. I'd say you're still under-medicated. Your TSH is relatively high for someone on T3 meds (which usually suppresses TSH right down). Your T4 is below range because you are on T3-only [any reason why, rather than combination therapy?] but your T3 isn't high enough either - only 10.8% though range. So I'm not surprised you feel dreadful.
If you can tolerate levo, it's probably the easiest thing to add to the mix - to see if you feel better with a much higher T4 level, and some will convert to T3 and bring that up a bit too.
Many of us need both T3 and T4 in the top third of range to feel properly well - but you are nowhere near ...
Do you think the fact that my parathyroid glands have Gone overactive could be messing things up to its hard to get my head round having no thyroid taking T3 and now having hyperparathiyroidism 😔😔
No not on vitamin D my results were the top end 2.60 mmol/L.. Ranges.. 2.10-2.60..mmol/L...this was done in Feb this year.. Endo is going by this result she has taken no further vitamin D bloods... Even though I've requested vitamins and minerals to be done.. Just keep getting same old answer endo is really busy and only dealing with cases that are deemed important 😠
