Dr peatfield?

Hi everyone.

Does Dr Peatfield still work? If so how does one get in touch with him?

If not can anyone recommend anyone - I live in West Sussex but happy to travel abit.

I’ve been taking metavive after Dr myhill recommendation but can’t seem to take more than 2 of metavive 1 in the morning without feeling worse. She wants me to take more as tsh Around 3 and should be below 1 if medicating. So stuck between a rock and a hard place and would like to see a specialist that prescribes alternative as Levi thyroxine made me feel appalling even in tiny doses. Thanks Dave

Dr Peatfield has now retired. Even if he was still working he wouldn't be able to prescribe.

Other than Dr Myhill I don't think there are any other doctors quite like them.

You can send for the list of thyroid friendly endos from Dionne at ThyroidUK:

and use the contact form here for a list of private practioners/doctors who have a special interest in thyroid conditions:

You can then ask for feedback by private message on any that you can travel to.

If anyone has any recommendations for the area you mention, they will reply by private message as we can't discuss individual doctors on the forum without their permission. I will turn off replies to this post so that no information is posted here.
