Thyrovanz is an ndt?

I intend to swap from NT(is very week) to bovine Thyrovanz. I understand that the bovine ratio(6:1) is different from porcine (4:1). How could i make the switch on, from 3,5gr NT to bovine ndt? In the past I was on 125mcg levo+ T3 (10mcg) but I don't feel well, then on Thai ndt (but now is unavailable). Does anyone use Thyrovanz???

"Thyrovanz is an ndt?"

No, not in the same way as NT, Erfa, Armour, etc are.

If you check out their website they say:

"thyroid supplement designed to support healthy thyroid function and boost metabolism in a natural way."

and in their FAQs there is this:

Does Thyrovanz contain T4 and T3 thyroid hormones?

Thyrovanz® naturally contains a level of T4 and T3, however as Thyrovanz® is classed as a dietary supplement, we do not test for, or list the thyroid hormone levels present within the bovine thyroid glandular. The only natural thyroid products that have listed and standardized hormone levels are prescription medications which can be requested through a medical professional.

So it's made from dessicated thyroid glands but they don't declare any thyroid hormone content.

I assume they don't declare any thyroid hormone content because they don't want to fall under the FDA law, otherwise it would be sold only with a prescription. However, they say that these are dehydrated thyroid supplements.

But if they do not test the product for thyroid hormone content, it could vary significantly from one batch to the next.

The variation in thyroid hormone levels in cattle through the year was one of the factors which ended up with pig-derived products being dominant (pig thyroid hormone levels are much more even).

Of course, it could be that the powdered desiccated thyroid is tested but the final product isn't. Or any of a hundred other interpretations.

All thyroid glandulars are the same - they declare no thyroid hormone content, as you say, if they did it would need a prescription. Thyrovanz have said that they don't test, so if there is any hormone content there's no way of knowing how much.
