I have been taking Thyrovanz for a while now. Besides not always being consistent it does work way better than Synthroid. But I have heard that many many cows in New Zealand will be killed for mad cow disease. That concerns me since it comes from there. Please let me know my next step. Thank you so much.

Thyrovanz
That is a lot of nonsense. One of the past Advisers of TUK invented his non-prescriptive thyroid hormone replacements in New Zealand with grass-fed cows. There's been no 'mad cow disease' in New Zealand.
The product is called Thyro-gold and his widow now deals with:

People spread rumuours for some reason (most probably so you'll purchase another product) or other and sometimes it is pure guesswork.
Thank you thank you !!! I was truly concerned because it really does great. I’m having issues other than thyroid and was worried maybe that was the cause. I’m relieved to know it’s not. Many were telling me to stop taking it from New Zealand. I’m so happy to hear it is safe.
I stated he was a Director of TUK but I made a mistake. He was an Advisor to them and was a Scientist/researcher/doctor.
I believe quite a number of people like it and he also deliberately invented it not to need a prescription.
People shouldn't spread rumours and make up stories. Even if it is not exactly the same product some questions/answers on this may be helpful for you.
This appears an obvious case of scrambled stories. It looks like there is going to be a cull but for mycoplasma - not mad cow disease.

I suspect that this could affect supplies but don't know any more than the article I have linked to.

Do you have a diagnosis of Hypothyroidism?
Have just replied to your new post and am a little confused as to what tests/diagnosis you have had and when.
Have you just had TPO test for first time?
