Is Euthyrox gluten free?

Hi all,

I have hashimoto and takes levo 75.The brand I take is attached here.I am gluten, and most grains free.I searched about the drug inactive ingredients.It contains corn starch and lactose monohydrate but I can not guarantee that it is gluten free!!!! Does any one take this brand or at least know whether this brand contains gluten or not?

I use Euthyrox but have no idea. It doesn't mention gluten of any sort in the ingredients?

Rather than relying on people here, why not contact Merck? I imagine the packs have the manufacturer details in the pack. You will almost certainly be able to find some contact details either there or on the internet.

The 25 microgram pack has a sticker on it - which has a mistake. It says "euthyrox 25mg-50tab" - it should say "25mcg-50tab"!

The UK position is that all UK medicines can be regarded as gluten-free unless they contain an obvious gluten/wheat ingredient. (Even some which contain certain wheat-based ingredients can be officially gluten-free!)
