I’m lactose intolerant and have been taking Teva as a result, this said, I’ve read it contains gluten and although not diagnosed as being intolerant, I avoid gluten and have severe bloating when I do have it.
I did have a blood test for celiacs and the results showed themselves to be out slightly elevated of range but I am aware that you need to consume gluten in order to have a valid test result; something I was unaware of at the time of testing.
Would the gluten in the tablets be enough to cause problems? Has anyone else had anything trouble?

Hi there, yes I’m on Teva, I know it seems to flag up as one that people don’t get on with but I haven’t tried anything else and am still trying to get my thyroid under control but that’s good to know, my pharmacy doesn’t stock teva 100 so why other brands would be amazing! X
Hi there, I’ve heard a lot of people say they don’t get on with Teva, May I ask what the side effects might be? I’m on meds and still feel awful but only diagnosed in April, medicated one may and so I guess I’m just still finding the right level x
I can’t remember exactly the symptoms. I just felt awful on Teva. I went on here and asked. I got a lot of replies saying they didn’t get in with Teva either. My chemist has a note now not the give me TEva tablets or liquid medication. I’m on Levothyroxine liquid and T3 meditation now.
Hi Elmo218, I was put on Teva last year and I quickly went downhill. The symptoms I had were severe back pain, heavy legs to the point where I was struggling to walk properly, low blood pressure and bad headaches. I now take Activis and feel good most days with just an occasional day when I don't feel that good which is usually after I have done too much the previous day! I know it's early days for you but if you are feeling awful I would be tempted to try another brand to see if there is any improvement. I hope you feel better soon.
