Magnesium citrate vs glycinate - new winner

I have been a bit of a traditionalist over magnesium and have stuck with citrate as I saw it as a “safe option” as it is so widely used.

For some reason this time I decided it was time for a change and bought 500 MG glycinate.

Wow I am pleased I did this. It is simply far milder on the stomach and improves energy levels compared to citrate version.

Despite being a citrate user for a decent while, I will not be going back whilst the glycinate version is going so well.

I wonder if anyone else had found this helped more too?

Whenever I respond to anyone's queries about which form of magnesium to use, I always link to a few articles which explain the uses of each form of magnesium and that they should choose the one most suitable for their needs. Citrate is well known to have laxative properties.

“Safest option for solving a long term deficiency” that is very helpful to read - to be honest I had not fully realised that the citrate version was more “challenging” for the stomach

Thank you for the information
