It looks like you are on a very low amount of levothyroxine, not even a normal starting amount.

You could search for guidance on treatment for hypothyroidism on sites such as thyroid UK.

Can u guide me how much dose should be?

It varies. Everyone is different. You need to increase your dose until you feel well. Every increase should be after you have had blood tests usually after 6 weeks on a dose. Having said that a rough guide is 1.6mcg for every kilo of body weight. This is only a guide and you need to work slowly towards it.

Now my report is

Serum anti thyroglobulin <20.

Serum TSH 7.139

SERUM FT4 1.39

ANTI THYRODE proxidase 15.3

I am 63 years and my weight is 65 kg. I live in Pakistan. According to Pakistan lab

age from 55 to 87 TSH normal range is 0.5 to 8.9

Before medicine my TSH was 11 and now 7.139 it means it down and within range.

I am using .025 mg (25mcg) lavothroxine daily 1 hour before breakfast

Kindly guide me in this situation.

TSH and thyroid hormones decline with age and this is part of the ageing process and one of the reasons people slow down and health declines. You will feel much better if you use the normal range (not adjusted for age) as you will have more energy etc.

Even being within the range is not good - you want to optimal and this will involve a TSH much lower than the top of the range. Doctors rely too much on the TSH test, they should pay more attention to your symptoms.

Good morning

Kindly guide me if I have hypothoride and feeling short breath. What reason can be?

Is it due to thyride medicine or thyride disease and how can we overcome this problem?

Hypothyroidism causes weak muscles. This includes respiratory muscle weakness, including the diaphragm and leads to shallow breathing and decrease lung function. Edema (fluid retention) can cause swelling of the abdomen and this can make shortness of breath worse.

It is not caused by the thyroid medicine! You need a larger amount of thyroid medicine to fix this.
