Hi

I have recently been changed to natural thyroid but my endocrinologist is not able to assist with fibromyalgia and I am considering a consultation with dr Sharma in Exeter. I would appreciate any experiences via pm

Thanks in advance

You know what, in your place I would give NDT a chance to make me better and see if I still have fibro when I'm on a decent dose. You might not even need to see someone about your fibro. :)

I very definitely second that suggestion.

Thank you both for your input.

I am probably being a little impatient but having been plagued with all of the same issues all of my life!

I have been on NDT for 2 months now and my thyroid bloods are a lot better but I am still suffering with a lot of brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, nerve pain etc and my endo almost dismissed saying there was no treatment.

Two months is a very short time in thyroid terms. Nothing happens quickly where hormones are concerned. I'm afraid you need to learn patience. I expect you're still on quite a low dose of NDT, aren't you? We have to increase slowly. :)
