Hi everyone, Dr. Skinner is still able to practice with the conditions that were already in place.

A sigh of relief all round, until the next time of course.

Thank you everyone, on Dr. Skinner's behalf, for sending testimonials into the GMC.

We can but hope. It's always the good doctors that seem to be punished for their excellent work.

Phew! What a relief for all his patients!! Poor man, he does have to go through the mill all the time. When will they ever learn from him.

wonderful news i would like to think dr skinner looks at thissite and sees all this support for him halleluya

I have read about Dr Skinner many times on here, I assume he is an endo? He obviously gets to see a great many patients so must be extremely hard working.... can someone tell me what area he is in Thanks .

Dr. Skinner is actually a Virologist with an interest in thyroid disease. It all started when he used to be referred patients regarding ME and he realised that many of those patients who had 'normal' results actually had many of the symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Brilliant news. Muffy and nobody'sdriving you both got there before me :-) I so hope he realises how much support he has from us and if he looked on this site he would see with his own eyes and NEVER EVER DOUBT THE GOOD HE IS DOING FOR THYROID SUFFERS. Such a shame he always gets put thro the mill when he helps so many people. Pity there aren't more like him. X

I must have missed it but why was Dr Skinner up there again? Do we have names of people who are reporting him and for what?

Yes, he can still prescribe, just that he still has to follow the conditions placed on him in previous IOPs.
